Acorn Hit Back at McCain.

Acorn have hit back at John McCain for his recent attacks, releasing the photograph on the left, showing McCain attending an Acorn event where he was the headline speaker, and they have also released a statement:

Bertha Lewis, Acorn's chief organizer, said in a statement that came with the photo, “It has deeply saddened us to see Senator McCain abandon his historic support for ACORN and our efforts to support the goals of low-income Americans."

”We are sure that the extremists he is trying to get into a froth will be even more excited to learn that John McCain stood shoulder to shoulder with ACORN, at an ACORN co-sponsored event, to promote immigration reform," she said.

One forgets that there was a day when McCain split his party on immigration. He's held so many utterly contrary positions that one gets confused. So, now Acorn gets to join that long, long list of positions which McCain has supported only to later denounce in an attempt to get into the White House.

I am seriously doubting whether John McCain stands for anything other than his deep desire to become president, because every other position you can think of has been subject to review.
