"When you have a famed, well known Republican hitman -- Roger Ailes -- running a news network, this is what you're going to get".

Fox News personalities have endorsed, raised money, or campaigned for Republican candidates or causes, or against Democratic candidates or causes, in more than 300 instances and in at least 49 states.

It's not remotely surprising, but it does show the blatant lie that Fox News is "fair and balanced". It's not, it's the broadcasting wing of the Republican party.

And they get away with it because they are so blatant about it. It's impossible to be shocked by something when it is so in your face.

A blogger named Helen Philpott described Republicans this way:

"If it wasn’t for Fox News you would be irrelevent. That’s right. You have become a party that owes its entire existence to a cable news channel owned by an Aussie. Your mascot should be a kangaroo instead of an elephant."

I dont know if they'd be irrelevent, but I suspect they'd be a whole lot more reasonable.

I agree with her. Fox are their life blood.
