White House: Fox News Is "Opinion Masquerading As News".
I disagree with David Gergen and the members of this panel who think that the Obama administration is making a huge mistake by defining the Fox News network as "opinion masquerading as news".
What terrible thing do they think Fox News is now going to do? I mean, seriously, is there any way that the Fox News network could get more negative towards the Obama administration? He's already been called every name under the sun by these people, and no matter what he says they are not going to suddenly stop attacking him. That is what they exist to do.
I think it's right that the White House make it perfectly clear that they are not dealing with a normal TV station here, but with one which carries a clear Republican agenda. By stating that clearly, I think it becomes harder for people to ignore that fact.
