The Tea Baggers Come to Town.

As the teabaggers descend on Washington, I can't help searching their signs for the most offensive message. The comparison with Hitler's T4 programme was pretty grim, but so too is the one above. However, my favourite sign so far - for sheer lunacy - is below.

How deluded would you have to be to hold that sign up in public?

I'm curious to know if the Murdoch empire is as nakedly manipulative in the rest of the world?

Nowhere near it. Their newspapers support the Tories, unless they think Labour are going to win, when they instantly change tactics in order to claim, "It waz The Sun Wot Won It!" In fact, at the moment, The Sun are still pretending to support Labour, but they'll turn before the next election.

But Sky News bears no resemblance to Fox. Sure, they have a few right wingers on there, but basically any channel which behaved the way Fox do simply wouldn't be acceptable over here.

Plus, especially approaching election time, we have very strict laws covering fairness and outlawing bias. I'm sorry to tell you that Fox is uniquely American. Murdoch wouldn't get away with that blatant shit anywhere else.

They can't count, either

Nunya, didn't the fire brigade put the figure at around 60,000 to 70,000?

I know Malkin runs with the two million figure, but she is certifiably insane.
