O'Reilly: "A sad day for America. Al Franken becomes a U.S. Senator."

It's, according to Bill, "a sad day for America" now that Franken has been elected to the Senate.

Bill laments that America is "in deep trouble" as it has elected a man who "is blatantly dishonest... is not qualified to hold office... a man who trafficked in hate."

It's simply extraordinary that Bill, who openly supported McCain with Palin on the ticket, can dare make these charges about Franken whilst he supported a woman who frequently lied, was clearly unfit for the position, and whilst I wouldn't go as far as to say she trafficked in hate, it was certainly true that what she said produced a visceral hatred for Obama amongst some of her followers.

But, of course, Mr "Fair and Balanced" only notices such things in Democrats, never in Republicans.
