Fleischer is hitting all of the usual Republican talking points here. Did Clinton engage in rendition? Did Clinton ever send anyone to a country where torture took place?
But it's hysterical to watch him attack Pelosi as lying about what she knew and when she knew it and then scurry away from the notion that there should be a truth commission.
Ari is playing the same scorched Earth policy that all Republicans are playing on this subject. He simply wants to issue enough threats to make all of this go away. The very last thing he wants is for the truth to come out. And that is what all these barely hidden threats are meant to ensure.
Despicable people playing despicable politics to cover up their despicable actions. I never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Republicans taking to the airwaves to argue FOR torture. The entire movement has lost it's moral core.
