Obama steps up to the plate on the economy.

The difference between the two camps could not be starker. Here, Obama clearly lays out his economic plan.

It is said that the McCain camp have had meetings on launching their economic plans, but have literally come up with nothing. They simply cannot agree on a way forward.

I also love the way Obama, in this clip, shows McCain and Palin just how one should deal with crowds that become overheated.

The crowd boo when Obama mentions McCain's name and, quick as a flash, Obama states, "We don't need to do that."

The boos instantly stop.

"We just need to vote, that's what we need to do."

Crowd control. It's something both McCain and Palin would do well to learn.

Obama continues to talk about policies whilst McCain and Palin continue to ignore policies and attack Obama. And they wonder why, at a time of economic unrest, that they are losing?

Hat tip to Crooks and Liars.

A brilliant maneuver on Obama's part. He was waiting for that moment. Not to take anything away from the gesture. The man's actually got a pair. That's refreshing.

Will, I agree that Obama has probably been waiting for the moment to do that.

And Conservatives and their view of patriotism has always confused me. And I'm glad that they hate the idea of American jobs for American workers as, in an election which is about the economy - as this one is - it only guarantees that they are going to lose.
