Republican double standards.

One of the nicest things about being a Republican is this handy amnesia which allows them to argue one thing one minute and the total opposite the next without ever experiencing shame.

One of the best examples recently was Pat Buchanan who, when told that Sarah Palin might be the VP said, "It's hard to see Sarah Palin as Commander in Chief within the next year." He then sarcastically noted, "Don't forget, she's been the Mayor of Wasilla", which made the others on the panel roar with laughter such was the inconsequence of such a thing. Fast forward to the same afternoon when Palin has been named and suddenly, "She's the Queen of Wasilla for heaven's sakes. [...] "He could not have made a better choice."

And the same is true of Karl Rove as Jon Stewart has noticed. Experience which makes Sarah Palin perfectly able to become Commander in Chief is laughable when he is talking about Tim Kaine.

Then we have the biggest blowhard of the lot, Bill O'Reilly, argue that teen pregnancy is a private family matter and that society would be wrong to judge the parents. Unless Bill is talking about Britney Spears' sister when O'Reilly finds that, "Here the blame falls on the parents of the girl who obviously have little control over her."

See how seamlessly these lying toads do this?

And then we have Dick Morris claiming that people asking questions of Sarah Palin are guilty of terrible sexism. This from the same man who claimed that Hillary hides behind the sexism defense.

And didn't Sarah Palin, the very person who they are now claiming is the subject of sexism, once tell us that Hillary's "whining" about sexism was the reason she couldn't back her?

This is what Republicans do. They are simply shameless liars. I think they must assume that we have very bad memories. The funniest thing is that these same creeps call Obama "elitist" whilst showing a contempt for the general public that borders on loathing. How stupid do they think we really are?
