Pelosi on Bush: "A Total Failure."

"God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States — a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject."
I happen to agree with her reading of Bush's record, but the inability of the Democratic Congress to stand up to such a failure has been an eye opener.

And, leaving aside the fact that he is a failure, he has also broken the law, but it was Pelosi who insisted that he must never pay the price for that.

The Democrats bear much of the blame for enabling the actions of the Bush Administration, and Pelosi, as Speaker of the House since 2006, bears a large part of that responsibility.
And under Pelosi's "leadership" the Democrats have shown either a lack of resolve that can only be described as craven, or as criminal complicity, in the face of the actions of the BushCorp.

I totally agree Dave. The Democrats have enabled Bush's criminality and even offered immunity for criminal acts, which is what makes Pelosi's statement such a joke.

Tough words, but where was the action when it was needed?

Yes, it is the epitome of patronisation isn't it?

It's the kind of sympathy one normally reserves for the intellectually challenged.
