David Brooks: Republicans HATE Bush
Ah, so now the Republicans hate Bush. This is simply an attempt to distance themselves from the nightmare and abject failure that has been the Bush presidency.
One must never forget that for the past six years these people have backed every illegal stance this incompetent man has made. The Republican's mustn't be allowed to now state, "Oh, he was never one of us."

We need to be on top of every one of them and remind as many people as we can of every time they stood behind him and blindly did as they were told.
This stance might be believable from the Republicans if they were not still supporting him.

It takes my bloody breath away that they can even attempt to distance themselves from Bush whilst they continue to support and vote for every measure the bugger introduces. This is hypocrisy on a staggering scale.
