She is running for office while being a Republican woman. She is clearly more afraid of looking weak than of being wrong.
Palin has already shown this to be a failed strategy. You just end up looking unqualified. I'll give Jan props for at least not trying to be both the mama grizzly and the helpless victim at the same time.
I think you've got it in one, SP. She'd rather look wrong than weak.
