Boehlert: People like Breitbart and Limbaugh are "calling the shots, and the Republican Party has to play catch-up"
The Republicans still want to hang around with Andrew Breitbart. Boehlert says it's because they can't disassociate themselves from Limbaugh and the almost insane right wing media, and it's hard to argue with that.
Breitbart made all of them look like fools, including the Obama administration. But Fox News and most of the right live in a world where they are never wrong, so Breitbart must still be invited to their functions.
The Obama White House at least issued an apology, the right wingers will carry on as if Breitbart has done nothing wrong. That's the difference between both sides.
