There's That "I" Word Again.

The insanity of Michele Bachmann knows no bounds. Here she looks forward to the November election:

"[T]he thing is, here we are, people can't wait until November. They're practically lining up for polls now, they can't wait to go out and vote. The only thing is people wish Barack Obama was up for re-election right now, because they'd honestly love to have a chance to throw him out of office. Everywhere I go, people ask me, 'Michele, can we impeach the president?'"
She doesn't bother to name the high crime or misdemeanour the president is supposed to have committed to bring about this impeachment, she simply passes it along as what everyone she meets wants to see happen next.

Of course, were one to want to prosecute the previous president for war crimes which he is on the record admitting, that would be seen by Bachmann as a scandalous attempt to politicise "policy differences". But calling for the impeachment of a president who has committed no crime is perfectly okay in the crazy world which Bachmann inhabits.
Rep. Darrel Issa (R-Calif.) has raised the specter of impeachment. So has Michele Bachmman. Fox News has, too. In February, a national poll found that a plurality of rank-and-file Republicans wants to see Obama impeached.
The Republicans want to see Obama impeached, but are insistent that Bush must never face charges for the war crimes he has freely admitted. What an insane bunch of windbags they are.
