On Beck's radio show, Gingrich says Obama admin. is trying to "end ... America as it has been for the last 400 years".
Beck expresses astonishment that the Obama administration is no longer Democratic, but is actually a government of "Marxist revolutionaries" and that "nobody in the American media is covering this".
Up pops Gingrich to complain that Obama actually wants to "end ... America as it has been for the last 400 years" because he dares to question the infallible logic of Ronald Reagan and trickle down economics.
Leaving aside the fact that Reagonomics has been utterly discredited by the recent financial meltdown, could it also be that no-one else in the media is covering this stuff because it is simply nonsensical rubbish which exists only in the minds of crazed right wing loons like Beck and Gingrich?
I never fail to be amazed at just how far these guys will go to describe everything Obama is doing as "the end of America". If one does not embrace the Reagan policies which demanded that the market be constantly deregulated, then one is destroying America. Even at a time when Reagan's policies almost did the same to the financial markets.
