O'Reilly is actually trying to help Coulter out here and allowing her to suggest that most of the hate speech attributed to her are things which she never actually said.

But she just can't help herself. She's playing the victim and then admits, "I did say that, 'If all Muslims would boycott airlines, we could dispense with airport security all together'".

Every family has one of these buggers. She's like your old racist uncle who makes incendiary remarks that makes everyone wince, and then asks, "What? Can't you take a joke? I was only kidding..."

The fact that she thinks she's being terribly funny doesn't stop this from being classic hate speech.
