Mary Matalin Defends Rush Limbaugh: People Distort What He Says and Take It Out of Context.
It must be tiring for Republicans to have to continually justify Limbaugh's most repulsive remarks, and here we see Mary Matalin claim that his recent comments have been taken out of context.
But he clearly stated, "Besides, we've already donated to Haiti. It's called the US income tax." If that's not saying that Americans shouldn't help these poor Haitians by making donations then I don't know what the Hell he was saying.
He's certainly not requesting that people dig deep into their pockets, that's for sure.
And it's the juxtaposition of those comments when aired next to the awful images coming out of Haiti which causes so much offence.
If he can't say something sympathetic, then he should shut up.
