Maddow: Big Business and the "Child Labor Endorsing, Pro-Slavery Freaks"

Okay. It's official. Mark me down as naive...

American business groups are "worried" about laws that prohibit produce which comes from child, slave, and prison labour.

Let's say we can get our head around the prison labour part of their argument, are there seriously people out there still arguing that we should allow profit to be made out of slave labour, including child labour?

Anything that gets in the way of profit is a problem for American capitalists. Money is the real religion over here, and it carries a dogmatic reaction among its devotes which is as crazed as any suicide bombers.

Let's not give all the glory to American capitalism. There's plenty of child and slave labor around the world to share.

But, yes, there is no shame any more.

C, It's the fact that they can be brazen enough to make these arguments out loud which astonishes me.

But where am I going to get my girl scout cookies?

Lol. They might still be allowed, SP.

Maybe they shouldn't be. They are made for profit by big business and distributed by a bureaucratic nightmare using child labor.
