Van Jones Resigns As White House Advisor.

After more than a week of criticism from Glenn Beck and the lunatics on the right, Van Jones has stepped down as advisor to the White House on green jobs.

Here's the impact their campaign had in other less biased forms of media:

From a Nexis search a few moments ago:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

And yet the Obama regime have felt the need to let him go.

If they think this will stop Beck and others from making these insane attacks, they are wrong.

Beck is already carrying out a campaign of guilt by association, where he links various individuals and organisations, telling us that they are not connected to Obama in some instances, but generally mixing the names of members of the Obama administration and constantly repeating terms such as Socialism, Marxism, and - in one hysterical instance - Oligarhy (sic) - and leaving the viewer with the vague impression that something is seriously wrong.

What he says doesn't actually make any sense, but it's not supposed to. His audience, when they find themselves unable to follow his actual argument, simply assume that he is more intelligent than they are, and that his theories must be rather complex.

They, of course, are not. His theories are simply bunkum. It's the worst kind of guilt by association game which he playing.

And, as Van Jones steps down, we see that this little bugger and his ridiculous rants, do have consequences.

UPDATE:

Here's the kind of gloating which Glenn Beck's supporters are indulging in.

Note too, that they are pretending that Color of Change have been calling for advertisers to boycott Glenn Beck's show because of his pursuit of Van Jones.

This is, of course, a complete piece of nonsense. Color of Change have called for a boycott by Beck's advertisers because Beck called President Obama "a racist". Their boycott had nothing to do with Van Jones. But these are the kind of lies we can expect from these hysterics.

UPDATE II:

Here was Cenk, a few days ago, accurately predicting that the Obama administration wouldn't have the balls to hold on to this guy.

Glenn may not fall, but it'll have nothing to do with communism.

Dave, Glenn appears to think that Communism and Fascism are the same thing!

He clearly doesn't know what he is talking about.
