James Carville Calls Death Panel Comments "Right Wing Nuttery".
I love this argument. If Obama has to address right wing madness, like the notion that the government want to remove healthcare from your Grannie, then the president is displaying weakness.
The truth is that if the MSM didn't give any credence to these dreadful lies, in other words, if the MSM actually did their jobs properly - and identified such lunacy as the madness which it is - then Obama would not have to address such matters.
But, the press have, for weeks now, been reporting this healthcare debate in a "he said, she said" manner; without distinguishing whether or not what either side said is true.
That is why it is so important that Obama reveals this nonsense as what it is. Right wing nuttery.
And, for the MSM to take the fact that he has to do so as a sign of weakness, ignores their own role in allowing such insane ideas to ever circulate in the public consciousness.
