The Madness Continues...

Lou Dobbs is a snake. He knows fine well that right wingers are screaming about Obama's birth certificate because they say he is not an American citizen.

Lou is now claiming that he believes Obama is a citizen but wants Obama to live up to "his promise of transparency." Of course, he does. There's no other motive behind Lou's pathetic obsession...

The fact that Dobbs accepts Obama's citizenship - and yet still wants to harp on about this - is actually worse than if he were simply mimicking the birthers. At least there is some consistency to the birthers madness. Lou is displaying none, constantly changing the reasoning as to why he needs to see this bit of paper.

Madness abounds amongst Republicans.

I linked earlier today to G. Gordon Liddy saying that the document Obama produced would not be enough for Obama to get an American passport. But what point are they making here? Is there anyone who thinks that Obama does not have an American passport?

I seem to recall that during the election Obama travelled to Europe; making a speech in front of thousands of people in Germany. How did he get into Germany if he did not have a valid passport? Remember, he was not president at this point, he was still only a US senator.

And, if we can accept that he did have a passport, can we also accept that he must have produced the necessary documentation in order to get that passport?

I can totally see why Roland Martin finds this so exasperating. It's the most pointless argument of all time.

They no longer have a reason for this madness: they just can't help themselves.

Crazy is simply what these buggers do.

To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true, if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, fooled them too?

I agree, Paul. The burden of proof is with the people bringing the accusation. People like Dobbs are not even making a proper accusation; they are talking about "questions being raised" because they haven't seen the birth certificate.

It's the real birthers who are running with the insane accusations; people like Dobbs merely want to make Obama comply with his "promise of transparency".

I prefer the birthers. At least they are honest about what they are claiming.

And Jon Stewart has revealed that Orly Taitz is an attorney, a dentist, and a real estate agent. Nice to know that she has a field of expertise.
