Jon Voight: Bringing An End To This False Prophet Obama.

I am always greatly disappointed when an actor I admire reveals himself to be a right wing loon. Here Jon Voight talks of Obama's "deception" even as he admires Obama's masterful "Hollywood savvy and use of media." He then wonders if this can be mimicked "in a positive legal way", obviously implying that Obama used these tactics illegally.

He then sets out to attack Obama for daring to speak even handedly with Israel and Palestine. Apparently it is "arrogant" for Obama sit with Netanyahu as if, "he is now the new American power able to dictate what he thinks is best for Israel". You'll note that when a Republican is in power these same people argue that his powers must be limitless, but a Democrat acting as if he has presidential power is always an expression of their "arrogance".

He then takes hyperbole to new levels when he states that, "Everything Obama has recommended has turned out to be disastrous." Coming from a supporter of the Bush administration that is simply laughable.

He then states that, "Obama really thinks he is a soft spoken Julias Ceaser" and that "we, and we alone, are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression."

He then thanks Glenn Beck, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity and others for, "not giving up and staying the course to bring an end to this false prophet, Obama."

If those people are your heroes it gives us some indication of how unhinged Voight's views much actually be.

And why, when the Republicans lose, is the US always being oppressed?

Listening to this utter nonsense one can clearly see why the Republicans are in the political wilderness. There is no serious attempt to understand why they lost the last election. They accept no responsibility for the mess which they left behind; but, instead, attempt to blame Obama for the disgraceful state of affairs which their policies produced.

I've said it before, but they are simply talking to themselves now.
