New, less redacted, CIA documents have been released which totally undermine the Bush/Cheney claim that, "torture works".

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, in testimony given at Guantanamo Bay, stated that he made things up in order for the torture to stop.

So, the entire argument which Bush and Cheney have relied on, that "torture works", is proven to be rubbish.

And why did Bush and Cheney order that this information be classified? Because they didn't want us to know that torture didn't work.

Their entire argument is now in shreds.
