Bolton: The Real Targets Are Bush & His Most Senior Advisors!

John Bolton is expressing horror that Bush and Cheney are the real targets of any investigation into the torture that the US engaged in.

Why wouldn't they be the "real targets"? After all, they were the guys in charge as the US broke several international treaties against torture. As John Dean states, what they did was much, much worse than Watergate.

Only Bolton, and lunatics like him, could find it horrific that anyone might seek to bring these people to justice.

They had no problem with seeking justice from Clinton for lying about a blow job, but they are horrified that anyone might seek to make Bush and Cheney culpable for torturing people?

It's very hard to take these people remotely seriously.
