Secret Memos Reveal Bush Rational For Torturing.

This is how the US media are treating the release of the torture memos. I am honestly astonished that such conversations are taking place on mainstream US television and that the public are not up in arms demanding prosecution.

Here in the UK, we have talk of a police officer facing possible manslaughter charges for pushing Ian Tomlinson to the ground during the G20 protests. And yet, in the US, it is openly acknowledged that the CIA carried out actions - much worse than anything which this British policeman did - and yet there are, so far, no demands for prosecutions of any kind.

When does the US populace rise up in anger over what was done in their name?
