Michelle's message of hope.

Michelle Obama gets emotional whilst addressing a group of schoolgirls in north London.

Recalling her own working-class background in Chicago, she said she'd always been surrounded by extraordinary women in her life. And, she told the highly excited crowd: they too could achieve anything.
It's fair to say that she is going down a storm over here. And her message, that working class kids can achieve anything they set their hearts on, was genuinely inspiring. Both she and her husband are the proof of that.
History proves that it doesn't matter whether you come from a council estate or a country estate, your success will be determined by your own fortitude. Your own confidence, your own individual hard work.
The message she imparts is that the world needs these young women to be as brilliant as they can be and that the world expects them to do so.

As can be seen towards the end of this video, they greeted her as if she was the leader of a a pop band. She literally blew them away.

One can see that the security staff are actually getting worried as one girl insists on hugging her, leading to a frenzy of other girls all joining in.
