Cheney "outraged" that Bush didn't pardon Libby.

I talked yesterday about how Rove has taken to the airwaves to say that news of fights between Bush and Cheney over the pardoning of "Scooter" Libby is mostly tabloid gossip.

Well, now Chris Matthews takes up the subject and he has interesting theories as to why Cheney might be so desperate to see such a thing. He thinks Libby knows where all the bodies are buried and that this is why Cheney was banging the table in the way in which he was. There is also talk of Cheney trying to distance himself from Bush's legacy, which I regard as utterly fanciful, their legacies - whether they both want it or not - are irrevocably intertwined.
