Channel 4 Finally Gain Access to Gaza. And They Find Evidence of War Crimes.

Jonathan Millar finally gets to report from inside Gaza and he concludes that what he's witnessing looks very much like "wanton destruction", which is, of course, a war crime.

He is also reporting that white phosphorus is much in evidence on the ground. This, again, is a war crime as this weapon is banned.

On Tuesday UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he was appalled by Israeli attacks on a UN compound in Gaza after seeing the destruction for himself.

Mr Ban said that those responsible should be held accountable and demanded a "full investigation".

Of course, his cries for an investigation into the crimes which have occurred here will go unheeded.
