Palin pre-empts state report, clears self in probe.

For sheer balls this is stunning:

On the eve of a report on a legislative panel's abuse-of-power investigation into Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, campaign officials released their own report clearing her of any wrongdoing.
I mean that will influence a lot of people won't it? The actual report is due to be issued today, but Palin's team have issued their own report saying, "Don't worry, she's completely innocent!"

Palin's report has been issued to please these people:

Here on planet Earth, the rest of us will wait to hear what the investigator's have to say.

But Palin's team sure must be desperate to be pushing out their own investigation declaring her innocence. How stupid do they think we are?

The video, unfortunately, is not all that surprising. The one lady is obviously playing it up for the camera, but not realizing that she’s all along making the interviewer’s point. And the bloodline and name comments are disturbing, but again, not really surprising. Fear can be a powerful thing, and when you can use it a political weapon, you can accomplish much. Look at Hitler.
