Obama: Was McCain a "socialist" when he opposed Bush's tax cuts?
This is why Obama deserves to win and McCain deserves to lose. Obama asks whether, as McCain defines Obama as a socialist for trying reverse the Bush tax cuts, whether John McCain was a socialist in 2000 when he opposed these same tax cuts.
As Obama kindly puts it, "It's not a very plausible argument that he's making right now. And I think it's an indication that they have run out of ideas."
