BREAKING: Obama Campaign Calls For Investigation Into DOJ/McCain Collusion On ACORN Smears
McCain has been pushing the ridiculous line that Acorn is involved in voter fraud.
This is simply nonsense on it's face. Acorn hire youngsters to register voters. Some of these youngsters decide to simply make names up rather than to go to the trouble of actually registering real voters. Nor are they even subtle in the way in which they do it. They put down names like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Now, unless anyone expects Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck to turn up on election day and actually try to vote, then voter fraud is the last thing that is taking place here. Indeed, it is Acorn who are being defrauded because some people are taking money from them and failing to do the job that they are being paid for.
For McCain to even pretend that he believes voter fraud is taking place here shows him to be an opportunistic slime ball.
