This is not the time for Bush's, "my way or the highway" philosophy.

It's easy to see why Obama trounces McCain when it comes to the economy when one listens to him here.

And he's right to tell Bush that this is not time for his, "my way or the highway" philosophy. And, as Obama says, it was the very lack of oversight which led to this debacle, which is why what Paulson initially asked for is untenable.

Although, unlike Obama, I'd like any plan to help Main Street to be part of the initial deal. After all, this is still Bush we're dealing with here; the veto King.
