McCain says Obama didn't call Palin a pig.

This is beginning to get surreal. Now even McCain says that McCain is lying, but he thinks it's okay.

Did Barack Obama really call Sarah Palin a pig, as a John McCain ad leads people to believe?

"No," McCain said Monday.
Then how can he justify an ad run by his campaign which quite clearly implied that he had done so?
Did he call her a pig?" McCain was asked. "No, I but know that he chooses his words carefully, and it was the wrong thing to say," he responded.
In other words, he didn't call her a pig but he left the opportunity open for McCain to imply that he did, so it's his fault for being careless.

All's fair in love and elections.

His campaign is simply astonishing for the depths to which it will plummet, but it's even more breathtaking to hear the justifications used to defend such foul tactics.

And this is a man of honour?

That's the only reading I can make of what McCain is saying, Todd.
