Matthews: It's impossible to fail as much as Bush has!
Chris Matthews on the level to which Bush has failed. I have to say I agree with every word.
Where I disagree is that, for a period, merely the United States could have been united. It was a larger mistake than that. For a while after 9-11, there could have been a united world. We all shared the horror of that day, we all wept at the images on our TVs. We all spent the next three days glued to CNN.
But Bush, by deciding to invade Iraq, a country that we all knew had bugger all to do with the horrible events we had witnessed, blew it. Pure and simple.
