Barack Obama on Gustav: "We Rise and Fall as One Nation"

Obama speaks out for the Union movement and points out that even if you are not in a Union you have benefited from a Union.

However, he declines to give the speech he wanted to give because of Hurricane Gustav, and reminds Americans that "at times of need there are no red states or blue states, there is the United States."

Of course, Obama has more credibility with this theme than the Republicans, as he has been making this kind of speech for the last eighteen months and the Republicans have been mocking him for it.
