McCain: Bringing Troops Home from Iraq "Not Too Important"
Dear God, it's clumsy even by McCain's standards. I know he's trying to say that Americans stayed a long time in South Korea, Germany and Japan; but they weren't facing significant insurgencies in any of those places. To say that bringing the troops home is "not too important" is simply crass.
He's just gifted Obama an open goal.
