"Got it!"

Here in the UK we mostly know Norm Coleman as the person foolish enough to take on George Galloway in a public forum. At the time, many of us assumed that Coleman simply couldn't have known who he was dealing with, as Galloway utterly decimated him.

I didn't think he could top that humiliation, but with this pathetic ad... he's managed it. It really is one of the worst I have ever seen.

It's breathtakingly bad Bhc, isn't it?

Did you notice how his wife was "blue-screened" into the video? Apparently she has the ability to become ethereal and move right into the counter. His wife doesn't even live in the same state, so it seems reasonable was she was inserted into this ad from afar.

BTW, Norm is my senator, unfortunately. He is a complete chameleon, changing Parties, loyalties, endorsements, policies...everything constantly shifts so that he can always point to a position and say that he supports it. He endorsed Romney until it looked like McCain was going to get the nomination - now he's "loyal" to McCain. I guess that's what makes him "independent".

I hope he can get be defeated, but I'm not terribly confident at this point. Everyone remembers the position he took that they agree with, and forgets the contrary ones he takes. He also is even more dim-witted than he appears to be in the ad.

Todd,

I should have commented on it when I posted, but I loved the way his wife was superimposed into the commercial. It added to the cringe factor of the entire thing. And you have my sympathy if he is your representative, as I think he's a grade A asshole...

I wasn't aware of all that, but it does strengthen my belief that the man is an ass.
