Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?

Having said that, "The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him.", Bush later stated that, "I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

He appears to define and redefine priorities according to how difficult they are. It really is the mentality of a college drop out.

Morgan Spurlock, most famously known for SuperSize Me, takes up the search that Bush can't be bothered to make.

Hat tip to Crooks and Liars.

Both bush quotes are phony The second one bears only a slight resemblance to what he did say.

Oh, Bush said them alright. And just because the guy you quote couldn't find them doesn't mean that they are not out there. There are lots of places to find them.

Morgan Spurlock never ceases to impress me; i just saw Super Size Me, which was amazingly insightful, and now he's making a documentary designed to make people sincerely think about the war on terrorism... well done indeed

"Oh, Bush said them alright."

No he did not.

"And just because the guy you quote couldn't find them doesn't mean that they are not out there. There are lots of places to find them."

Just because they are out there and there are lots of places to find them doesnt mean that Bush said them. One can find many untrue things said on the internet, passed along by people who thought they were true. These quotes are an example.

It seems that all the places one can find them are all non-sourced. That is, no one can find the video and/or transcript of either quote.

I agree those exact quotes are very hard to find, certainly on any reputable web sites. However, Bush can be found expressing the exact same sentiments on many respected web sites, including the White House's own one.

Bush offered some of his most blunt language to date when he was asked if he wanted bin Laden dead. "I want justice," Bush said. "And there's an old poster out West… I recall, that said, 'Wanted, Dead or Alive.'"

And even the White House have him on record saying he's not that bothered suddenly about finding Osam.

So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you... And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him.

So he has certainly expressed those sentiments, even if it's not word for word with the quotations.
