THE FIGHT OVER THE FLORIDA DELEGATES

The Hillary team are soon going to start arguing that the votes from Florida should count, despite the fact that the Democratic candidates agreed not to campaign in Florida.

The argument is that the people who voted in Florida should not be disenfranchised, and there is a certain validity to that argument. However, it ignores the fact that the result might have been very different had the people of Florida thought that the election would count. What about all the people who didn't go to the polls because they were told that the result wouldn't matter?

It seems very odd to change the status of the vote after the event.
