That is one of the worst interviewers I know of, and he's got a really big following, sadly. Remember that Bill Clinton interview back in, maybe, November 2006? Same interviewer. What an ass. I hate his obtuse, artless, contentious approach. He and the Fox people believe that political journalism is all about making some people look good and making other people look bad - rather than just showing us the candidates and other people in their truest possible light.
It's childlike.

Oh, I well remember the disgraceful interview wih Clinton where Clinton tore him apart. He's an arse.

Yes, and then the big media machine went on to say that it was actually Clinton who looked bad, not the interviewer. Doublethink.
Yeah, but the mistake the interviewer made was to allow Clinton to then ask what the neo-cons had done about bin Laden since they came to power. After 9-11 that question couldn't be asked. Once that toad attacked Clinton he let that particular fox out of the bag.
I well rememeber Tony Snow telling us he wasn't going to be dragged into all this... In other words, "Oh shit!"
