Hanretty and Republicans "paying the price" for wrongdoing.

This is breathtaking. The Hill’s Karen Hanretty argues, not only that "Scooter" Libby has been punished enough, but that he's been punished too much. He should get a full pardon and pay no price for what he did. She argues this immediately after arguing that Bush was right when he claimed Libby had paid a heavy price. Hypocrisy and U-turns on this scale are actually quite rare.



Digby best sums up the Republican mindset:

There is no such thing as ethics. And hell, even if they do something blatantly illegal, the president ought to pardon them. They admit it. They're proud of it.
