Fox Attacks: Black America

A new video on the way that Faux News portray African Americans. That channel is a bloody disgrace.

Not sure I like this video Kel. I agree absolutely that Fixed News is trying to stir a racial argument especially regarding Obama, and they are completely biased.

However I feel this video is a little bit "Black Power" leaning. Some of those reports didn't come across as racist.

I'm totally for Obama as President- I think he's what America needs, I think he's an awesome guy.

However I when I saw the original Faux report a while ago, I checked out the church website. As a Christian I found it too exclusively "black". I understand the intention behind it, and I didn't think it was racist. However it seemed to have a "black" agenda instead of, where most churches usually list, a statement of beliefs/doctrine.

I was immediately put off and I would certainly avoid a church like that.

But no, I don't question Obama's faith- there are many churches that are sometimes set up for people who are not native communities. I even attended an English speaking church myself in Switzerland. It just wasn't broadcast as a central part of the doctrine that's all.

I hear you Alex and I don't know enough about Obama's church to fully comprehend what's going on there. I heard all the black stuff in the original report and took it as an affirmation from members of a similarly oppressed minority.

However, comments like O'Reilly's - "can't I call you articulate now?" - were deliberately offensive and, I thought, playing a race card. The comment that Obama was the first ever articulate black man did ignore screeds of black history. Martin Luther King, James Baldwin, Harry Belafonte etc,. etc,.

Amen Kel,

Yes, as I said some of those reports didn't come across as racist... however O'Reilly- I felt that the way he put that was also vindictive and patronising!

He's such a baboon.
