Rebuttal by CNN anchor against a Israel Spokeswomen

A small example of the damage Israel has done to her reputation through her actions in Lebanon. Could you imagine CNN asking these sorts of questions to an Israeli commentator four weeks ago?

And as Israeli commentators go, this woman is one of the worst. She regrets loss of life but the actions will continue? Jeez.

Actually, Kel, she is as good as it gets; she didn't answer one question, following each pointed query with a non-sequiter. This is exactly what "spokespeople" are supposed to do: speak sincerely, say nothing.

Who was this CNN woman? She's good. I thought I was watching BBC.

The CNN woman is usually hopeless, all pouting lips and no substance, however the events at Qana seemed to have startled even her to outrage.

And I thought the Israeli spokeswoman, granted given an impossible thing to defend, lost the plot slightly by trying to simultaneously apologise for the killing of innocents and, in the same breath, promising they would continue to chase terrorists even in civilian areas. It sort of took the shine off of the sincerity of the apology.
