Christopher Hitchens debates George Galloway

This is a special treat that I thought of only after posting Galloway on Lebanon.

Hitchens made the error of challenging Galloway to a public debate after Galloway went to Washington accused of taking money from the Iraqi regime of Saddam Hussein.

All I can say is that I don't know what Hitchens was thinking of. His "comrades" crap comes across as blatantly false. Galloway eats him.

Is he a member of Parliament? I believe that Austin's community radio KOOP (for which I will be working as a volunteer, hopefully with my own show interviewing people) interviewed him a short while ago..who ever does those interviews, they get some interesting people!

Yes, he's the leader of the Respect Party and represents Bethnal Green and Bow. He was a member of the Labour Party but Blair kicked him out for his comments regarding the Iraq war.
