For They Know Not What They Do.

Every time I think I have lost the capacity to be shocked, life has a way of throwing something unexpected at you. I found these pictures.

Little Israeli girls writing messages on a shell at a heavy artillery position near Kiryat Shmona, in northern Israel.

It really is no surprise that the Israeli/Palestine situation has lasted fifty long years if both sides pass their irrational hatred on to their children.

Depressing beyond words.

The source for the pictures is here.

Thanks to Sandmonkey for finding them.

Good god. I really cannot believe this.

I don't know if you saw the comment "Harry" left at my place about how only Muslims teach their children to hate. Of course, one might argue that, given the smiling faces on these girls, they don't "hate" so much as relish the deaths of children much like them on the receiving end of those shells.

I am sick with grief and bleak, bleak sadness seeing these pictures.

They had the same effect on me Bhc. Depressing beyond belief.

It's also why I've entitled it "They know not what they do".

A child is taught that shit, it doesn't just happen.

Probably had to dig for that one. If your point was really to show systemic child abuse at the societal level, you would have had a much easier time making your point if you were aiming at the Palestinians as there is far more material readily available and it is much more egrigious.

Palestinian Child Abuse
Jihad Kids
Palestinian Summer Camps
Hilary Clinton on Palestinian Child Abuse

There are countless more examples I could show you, but you get the idea. Just try googling "Palestinian Child Abuse" for some easy examples. "Palestinian Summer Camps" and "Palestinian textbooks" works as well. You claimed the attempt of my comment on a previous post was to portray them as monsters. I don't think they need my help with that.

Considering the link I referred you to was one on my own site, then no Jason, I didn't have to dig very deep at all.

And there are countless examples of Israelis doing this. I condemn both sides for this practice, I see you only seem to want to condemn this on one side of the dispute.
