Effects of Iraq War.

A quick visual that needs no explanation from me. This is how the world sees the effects of the Iraq war and whether or not it made the world a safer or a more dangerous place.

Interesting to see that Nigeria, "Land of the Oil and the Home of the Yellowcake", comes in second to the U.S. Wonder why that is.

Nigeria is the US's fifth largest supplier of oil.

In 2002, the White House declared the oil of Africa a "strategic national interest" — meaning that the United States would use military force, if necessary, to protect it.

Not that this would influence their view of the war in any way. You'd have to be cynic to think that way. :-)

Interesting to see that it is not just the Muslim countries that see it that way,
good visual post!

Kel, is this poll from Pew?

Btw..Kel, off topic. Since I mentioned to you that I might see Lewis Black tomorrow..well..I'm going! If and IF he's approachable afterwards, should I ask him something for you? (as in, when are you planning to go to the UK or if not, what would it take?) Let me know!

I find it interesting that the countries that believe eliminating Saddam made the world safer, besides the US, are both countries where Muslims/non-Muslims occur in substantial numbers: India and Nigeria.

Ingrid,

Sorry I've been off line all day as England were playing in the world cup and people started arriving at my house from 9.30 this morning.

Please ask him what it would take to get him to come to the UK!

Tommy,

There are also a lot of Muslim country's that don't share that view. Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan.
