Bush support plummets.
Left in the Heartland have produced two splendid charts that amply demonstrate just how dramatic Bush's fall from grace has been even in his supposed beloved south.
This is how support for Bush looked a year ago.
And this how support for Bush looks today.
Can anyone say, impeach him.

Approval polls have nothing to do with impeachment. I know that you, the British, are quite fond of getting rid of your PMs when their approval sinks. In American politics, it doesn't work that way.
There isn't going to be any impeachment; even Pelosi is saying that. Sorry.
I quite understand that impeachment and popularity are unrelated.
However, this is a President who has admitted acting outside of FISA, which is an impeachable offense, and the Dems have backed off backing Fiengold's censure motion because they seem to think he's too popular to touch. This shows he's not.
And Pelosi didn't say he wouldn't be impeached, she said something along the lines of, we'd have to see where hearings led us.
Sorry.
